The After School Education and Safety (ASES) Program will open the first day of school and operates every school day through the last day of school. The program begins each day at the close of the regular school day including minimum day Wednesday and operates until 6:00 p.m.
Hours of Operation:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
2:45-6:00 p.m.
Wednesday
1:15-6:00 p.m.
Each year the target population differs depending on the school and student needs. This year our ASES program is currently open to 2nd through 6th grade students with a referral from their teachers, free of charge. The program provides a safe place after school for students to improve academic achievement, broaden their interests, keep physically fit, and attend educational and social activities. The program also provides a nutritious snack, designated homework time, organized recreation, and enrichment.
Students enrolled in the ASES program are expected to attend every day. If a student has more than three unexcused absences he/she will be dropped from the program as our funding is reliant on both enrollment and attendance.
Participation in the ASES program is a privilege. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior toward other students and/or staff is reason for dismissal.
Parent MUST attend an ASES Parent Meeting in order for their child(ren) to be eligible for enrollment into ASES for the 20222-2023 school year.
Application submission and/or previous enrollment does not guarantee placement in the ASES program.
