Hmong Dance

Lao and Hmong dance are vibrant cultural expressions that reflect the rich heritage of their respective communities. Lao dance often features graceful movements and intricate formations, often performed during festivals and celebrations, showcasing themes of nature and spirituality. Hmong dance, on the other hand, is characterized by energetic rhythms and colorful costumes, often incorporating storytelling elements and traditional motifs. Both dance forms serve as a means of preserving cultural identity, fostering community, and celebrating shared history through movement and music.

Practices are on Mondays and Tuesdays after school from 3:00-4:00 PM. If you are interested in joining, please see Mrs. Gutierrez in the Nurse's office.
